So many fun markers, tangles, and ideas! I have been having a blast playing with all of my goodies and pulling them together into work of art. In this latest sampler my goal was to stick to analogous colors with blue being prominent and purple and green being secondary. It was fun and to spice things up I went complementary or opposite of blue on the color wheel and pulled in orange (one of my favorites!)
So all of the backgrounds are done in chalk pastels in the analogous color scheme, all of the pen work is the same with the inclusion of black, and then the orange, of course. It was so fun I am working on another just to see if I can do it! These are fun challenges for myself to learn more about color and become more comfortable with groups of color.
This was also an opportunity to use the angel fish tangles I learned in class, into dancing ladies, butterfly, and fish! What fun.
I love all the different things you did with angle fish, especially the octopus. Beautiful work. The colors really work well together too.
