Letter A

I am finally working on the letters I bought for my grandkids christmas presents two years ago.  What fun!  My original thought was to decorate the letters like the 60's Flower Power explosion of flowers with a few cute things thrown in, then I walked into Hobby Lobby and saw Jean Chaney doing Zentangle on letters much like these.  Love at first sight.  I had to learn how to do this.  Several classes later, I am gaining enough confidence to try one on my own.  It has been so much fun.  
The pink highlight is gelato rubbed on the surface, then I went online to my browser and searched for cartoon images of teddy bears and kitties, and then sketched them onto the letter and began tangling away.  I am so thrilled I cannot wait to finish this one, then go on to letter M!
