Great New Tools

Super excited, I discovered Stabilo chalk-pastel coloring pencils at Michaels. I went there to get some markers (excellent coupon this week!) and found these cool chalk pencils that create the softest shades using a pencil.  I love to softly shade my drawings and fill with tangles, so cool.

And I am a believer in the Copic multiliners.  My Pigma was running out so I grabbed the first black 0.3 I could find at Michaels and it was a Copic, I am SOLD!!  I went online to order some additional pens in different sizes. I was babysitting grandkiddles today and while they were napping, I had to sketch, and tangle, and play.  What fun.
One of my goals for this year is to be a better communicator, especially with long-distance family and friends, and I thought a card I design might be a good way to keep me on track.  Well, this makes a great spring design, now I just need to save up my money for stamps - yuck! I can't wait to show my tangle teacher and admit she is absolutely right about the Copic markers!

  1. So pretty! You are right, stamps can be very expensive. There are less expensive ways to get what you want for cards, like making your own stamps, buying digital stamps online, or cut and pasting clip art or coloring book pages from the Internet and printing out on X-press paper that is perfect for Copic work :)
