When Inspiration Strikes!

This is shaping up to be a beautiful FALL season!  I am loving the cool mornings.  That cup of coffee on the patio as the sun rises, before the sun rises and the heat melts us again, there is a reason to hope for the beautiful days in the desert.  This season I have been splitting my time between several of my favorite crafts: book making, drawings, and watercolor.

As I start to venture into my studio I will be sharing snaps of all my latest fun projects.  The drawings and watercolor I have been doing are taking on a new shape and form.  In my bookmaking projects I have been using stickers and die cuts to embellish the pages.  So after running through my stash and not finding exactly what I want,  I thought "hey, you are stretching your art muscles....why not create your own?"  So that is what I am doing.  I am filling pages of drawing paper with circles, squares, ovals, any shape I can fill with my artwork, drawing my favorite scenes, coloring in with colored pencil, and then sealing, cutting out and mounting on cardstock, and voila' I have a customized embellishment!
The little fish in the upper left was one of my inspiration pieces.  Here is a sample sheet of one night's scribbling while watching TV.

These little cuties are perfect to add to cards, scrapbook pages, all sorts of excellent crafts.  I am adding a new tab for these paper projects.  I am not sure how to add explanations or instructions, but I will try!
